Mai, a female black North American Wolf at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust ([link]) looking up into the sky.
Wolves in general seem to do that more often than dogs. It is said that dogs are often rather two-dimensional in their perception - while I cannot generally subscribe to that point of view since I have seen too many exceptions over the years, it is very noticable that wolves are in fact much more aware of what's going on around them - also above their heads.
Usually you want the focus to be on the eyes, but I found this photo to be interesting nevertheless
