A Piercing Gaze

Here's my favorite Eurasian Wolf from Tierpark Sababurg again on a fantastic sunny day in late May.

It was quite warm, so the wolves used the small lake in the enclosure a lot, which is the reason why this guy is so muddy *g*

I quite like the light and shadow in the photo and how he looks directly into the camera with his bright sun-lit eyes

Can't say why, but I liked it so much that it's my new desktop wallpaper. Actually, it looks much more impressive in large size / full screen.
