Here's something different - these are Wolf Park wolves.
I took this photo a couple of weeks ago during a two weeks stay at Wolf Park. I was on a trip through the USA where I visited a couple of friends and wolf institutions, along a route I've been taking pretty regularly since 1997.

It was my first time at the park in breeding season though. It was amazing... I took 5,500 pictures at Wolf Park alone. The wolves are more active during breeding season than the whole rest of the year together. Lost of dominance, submission and appeasing...

In this picture, Wotan (the beta male of the pack) is appeasing Wolfgang, the alpha, in a skewy way ;-)
