also are the wolves in your pictures timber wolves or grey wolves?and also are there any like pure red wolves? always wanted to see one.
How do I do that - well, I visit nearby parks with wolves and take photos
Timber wolves and grey wolves are basically the same. Grey wolves are the general species (Canis lupus) while "Timber wolf" usually refers to the North American (Canadian) subspecies. The wolves I take photos of include North American subspecies as well as European wolves (Canis lupus lupus) and Arctic wolves (Canis lupus arctos).
"Pure red wolves" would be paradox in itself, looking at recent research that suggests that red wolves may simply be hybrids between grey wolves and coyotes.
as for around here.... well, we have none. i live on the coast so the day that i see a wolf i'll always remember. I haven't even seen a fox here.
