I am currently picking candidates for this year's Lupinity Wolves 2014 calendar
voting. When entering photos from 2012 and 2013 in the Lightroom database, this one of mid-May 2012, taken at Tierpark Sababurg, re-surfaced that I never submitted and almost forgot about. I took a similar photo back in 2009, but I was never fully happy with the quality. Back then, I had worse light and slower lenses, and I didn't quite know how to handle the fairly new 1Ds Mk III.
After the tedious process of going through all photos and thoroughly cleaning out all those that were not 100% sharp and/or boring over the last few weeks, I am now left with a little more than 15,000 photos of the last 14 months. I boiled them down to a selection of about 170 photos which I will try to bring down to about 100 to enter the final calendar voting which will hopefully start within the next two weeks.
And yes, these wolves are in fact playing leapfrog. At least the one jumping is... he kept on running on collision course and when the other wolf prepared for the impact, he just leapt over him. Not the first time he did that... The calendar voting is now officially open
- so please go to [link]
- create your favorite calendar - and with a little bit of luck, you can win a free copy! In any case, like last time, all participants can buy the calendar for a discounted price once it's available. You can read more on the voting in the journal linked below.
Wolves 2014 Calendar Voting is now open!Hello everyone
I'm happy to announce that the Lupinity Woves 2014 Calendar voting is now open. I was extremely busy so I'm VERY late this year... thus the voting period will be rather brief again - make sure you go to http://www.lupinity.com/calendarvote/ and vote now!
Like in the 2012 calendar, all registered voters enter a raffle for a totally free copy of the calendar (mailing is also free!). And even if you don't win, you will have the chance to buy the calendar for a heavily discounted price if you have participated and registered.
This year, you can pick a cover photo for the calendar as well.
