Full view please!
(geez, why isn't a 900x900px picture shown in full view on a 1920x1200 screen anymore? Silly!)
So here's another little photo from last weekend, taken with the Canon EF600mm f/4L IS USM. This is probably the one that impressed me the most - not for the beauty of the shot itself, I think it's pretty generic - but for the sharpness. You can't see that in this small version, but you can actually clearly see the blood vessels in his iris
So, yes, this thing is sharp after all. I guess the 70-200 is a tiny bit sharper, but you always gotta keep in mind that 600mm is quite extreme and so this is quite awesome.
Oh, and why the title... can you spot the fly in the photo? Some EXIF again:
