Walking The Stony Path by Lupinicious Walking The Stony Path by Lupinicious
Okay, now I'm really behind with uploading :D
On Tuesday I visited Wildpark Knüll, where I haven't been since October 2011. Wolves and Bears are coexisting in the same enclosure there, and while both species were quite stressed for the first few months, it seems to go really well by now.

This photo was taken after the bears were locked up in the evening so both species can get some rest :D

The wolves there have are morphologically slightly different from most other Eurasian Wolves I've seen so far, and I'm not quite sure why.

Yes, he really looks like a Coywolf :-)

The focus is amazing! Love the sharp focus on the wolf. And the blurry foreground and background!

Yea, they are quite different. Maybe it's the result of inbreeding?

I don't know. The inbred wolves I have seen so far had quite short muzzles and a whole lot of health issues. They don't seem to have any of that.

sehr schönes Bild mal wieder! Dass Wölfe und Bären sich Gehege teilen, kommt ja häufiger vor, zB im Wildpark Lüneburger Heide oder im Bärenpark Worbis..
