A European Wolf walking a shady path - photo taken at the Sababurg park .
As you can tell, the photo has been post-processed - the original photograph was taken in bright sunlight, the wolf however was completely covered in a shadow cast by a large tree. While this made for a very interesting and unusual photo already, with the wolf in the shadow and everything else around him in bright sunlight, as well as the interesting rock structures, I wasn't quite content with the way the background dominated the picture.
So after 2 1/2 hours of testing a few things, here's what I came up with. Hope you like it.

Can I use this a a reference for a drawing I am making, I cannot find the correct walking cycle and this seems to be the only one I can find that suits it kindly.. As a bonus, it is focusing on the wolf itself, hence easier to focus on the anatomy.
