One of the more handsome wolfdogs I have seen at a Saarlos Wolfhound get-together last summer in Holland.
Saarloos and Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs are mainly bred for their wolf-like appearance, while trying to eliminate most of the behavioral featues that don't make wolves desirable pets

Not always fully successful, though
Both breeds originate from wolf hybrids though, and technically they still are hybrids. But with the selection taken place, they are both FCI recognized dog breeds since 1999 (Saarloos: FCI no. 311, Czechoslovakian: FCI no. 322) and not regarded as wolf hybrids, which would be illegal to keep in most countries, e.g. Germany.
Yes, something different! Not a wolf, but a dog this time

I had a wolfdog once, half Chow-Chow, half wolf. He was a handsome and friendly dog. Sadly he lost his struggle with parvo.
He was friends with my other dog. I miss them both.
