Houdini Fox

I chose Houdini for this title because this young male fox managed to escape his enclosure while I was taking photos of his female "roomie" at Wildpark Knüll.

I did not see exactly how he did it, but I heard a short rattling noise of the fence and the next thing I saw was that suddenly the guy was in the badger enclosure that's right next to his.

The good thing was, while he mostly hides somewhere in his enclosure, he posed quite nicely a couple of times while exploring the uncharted territory

Also, the light was very nice that day, there were no clouds visible in the sky in the evening. All following days up to now were just heavily clouded and rainy

I will be visiting a number of new parks next week (if the weather improves a little), and I might even have the chance to take photos of wildcats

Photo taken using the new 70-200 f/2.8 L IS II USM wide open at 2.8. Gotta love the sharpness of that lens.
